Even China has seen some spurt in recent days. Investor confidence is at an all time high, as confirmed by the stock market surge. Delhi government has announced the opening of schools from the 1st of November. One could look forward to a near normal situation with some precautionary restrictions. The WHO which is dragging it's feet in giving approval for the indigenous Covaxin vaccination for emergency use, will be under pressure to accord due approval, in view of the Indian success story; a stupendous feat.

Now the next step all Indians are waiting is the green signal by WHO to Covaxin .The webinar on public policy was a treat to watch with so many diverse issues discussed and debated. Totally agree - it is indeed a proud moment for all of us. Because none of us really gave the establishment any chance to achieve this mammoth task makes the achievement even more sweeter. Wish all the cynics (and we have quite a few) would for once stand and say yes we did it !!
